Born and raised in Villa Clara, Cuba, he earned a degree in Civil Engineering from the Universidad de las Villas, where he developed a strong foundation in structural design and large-scale infrastructure projects.

In 2009, Jarvy immigrated to the United States in pursuit of the American Dream. He quickly put his engineering expertise to work, establishing himself as a highly respected professional in the construction industry. From 2011 to 2016, he served as Principal Engineer at Baker’s Construction, where he led major projects including the I-595 highway bridge construction, runway and taxiway projects at Fort Lauderdale–Hollywood International Airport, and acted as Principal Structural Engineer for the Surf Club Miami Beach project.

From 2017 to 2021, Jarvy worked as Principal Engineer for Fly & Form Structures, overseeing complex and high-profile developments such as the Flatiron Building in Brickell, the 1010 Brickell Building, and Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.

In 2016, while continuing his engineering career, Jarvy became a Certified General Contractor and founded JP Vertex Construction Corp. Under his leadership, the company has successfully completed projects throughout South Florida, including high-end custom homes , residential additions , remodeling, specialized structural work, and pools.

JP Vertex Construction has also completed several notable commercial projects, including County Line Shopping Plaza, Rashelle Motel in Fort Lauderdale, and Leisure Apartments in Hallandale.

Outside of his professional career, Jarvy enjoys spending quality time with his family. He has a passion for playing dominoes, boating, and cooking, activities that reflect his appreciation for connection, relaxation, and bringing people together.
